Danielle, first of all, thank you so very much for your support. That is what keeps us going over there. I was there for 8 months during the biggest battle of any city since Vietnam. I’ve seen the worst. We play by ALL the rules, they don’t. I hope the fallen can see what is written here because they would be very proud of you taking a stand. You are the reason we do what we do and you are the reason my brothers will never die in vain! Thank you so much. It was an honor to fight for you and your freedom to take that stand. I will always be grateful to you for that and I know my fallen brothers would tell you thanks if they could! I wish the very best for you and your family.

Pitts and PFC Shane Ailant just returned from boot camp a few weeks ago. Up against the new recruits, Pitts said Beltran stood no chance.
"No sir, not at all, sir," Pitts said.
The Marines chased Beltran nearly a mile before cornering him.
A big Hoo-rah to these two Marines. Can you imagine the look on Beltran's face after outrunning Mall security and two deputies, only to have to heve these two join the chase? I see a USMC "Priceless" moment here...

It seems that September 11th didn't waken just Americans.
A timeline of key dates in the decommissioning process that led up to the IRA's weapons being put beyond use.
I'm glad to see the IRA disarming, putting terrorism and violence behind them, and abandoning victimization.
